"Huron is back with his long awaited album “Inside Information”.
The Berlin based musician has come up with 13 original tracks for his album which sounds somewhere between the IDM/Glitch/Electronica.

>>Somewhere lost in a chasm, deep in the confines of an alien world, one will find Huron‘s sound illuminating microscopic glitches and random tentacles as a post-industrial sheen is curated. Huron (aka Berlin-based Steffen Schröder) sets tones and drones meshed with mechanized debris, as if classic-era Gridlock were to meet Access To Arasaka. Low-end rumblings fall between veils of darkness as Inside Information reflects shadows and light sources from all angles. With clear sound design execution, it comes as no surprise that Schröder continues to expand the proverbial envelope.

A focus on magnetic ambient strands (ie. “HumanTZ05550X,” “Ghost In The Mirror,” “Mind Reader,” and “Concede”) allow the album to ebb and flow between mysterious, inspired, and fluid sonic shapes. Elsewhere, moments like the glitch-infested brittleness of “Forest Lover,” to the fragile electrical pulse of “Hunting The Morning Light” depict confined audible powers driven through a delicate mist. An album that manifests fury and compassion, frustration and calm, “Rainy And I Love It” summarizes the collection blissfully in just over five minutes.

As a result, Inside Information delivers on all fronts—drenched atmospheric pressure launched over skeletal industrial-electronic remains, this is a contagious musical lifeform start to end. <<

‘Inside Information’ is an accomplished coming of age for Huron, a conceptual LP that brings together the elements that worked so well on his previous album "The Other Side Of Reality" on Raumklang records and his "Fissure" EP on Mindtrick Records. and mixed it into a robust, coherent statement.

Inside Information is a class in balance and restraint. The sounds and manipulations demonstrated throughout are carefully placed and never feel out of sync, despite the complexity of beats, progression and slowly growing electronic organisms. It's an album built for intense listening, longing to be played out live in an epic futuristic setting. As far as Intelligent Dance Music goes, this one's begging to escape any confines you dare to place on it.

On Inside Information we hear the top-notch electronic production that we expect from Huron, Beckoning, glitching rhythms combined with IDM ambience and a subliminal touch of darkness, all with a blanket of gorgeous atmospheres, spacious soundscapes and just the right amount of memorable melodies to keep your brain tuned in.

The objects unfurl from within their constructed confines, glitching along the way through their mechanical lifestyles, wrapped over by curtains of cinematic textures, twisted, unhinged, and finally left on their own to breathe and evolve. There is more to the intelligent design behind each and every track that meets the ear.

BIO: My name is Ryan and I was born 8/10/87. I have an Associates degree in Graphics Design. But, a little bit about myself first. I got into making art when I was about 13. I first started dabbling in Adobe PS when the only version they had was 5.0 at the time, and since then I have upgraded to the latest cs5. I used Pixel2life.com as a means of teaching myself the different filter tricks of photoshop and soon fell in love with the program.

Since then I have a completed over 10,000 tutorials in photoshop, as well as taking a few college classes here and there, and am now starting to dabble in Web Design.

I can do professional work when I find it, but mostly create and utilize my talents as a hobby, so most of what you see in my gallery is hobby work, with little professional pieces. I am just like any other artist when it comes to expressing their emotion into a form of visual art. The main media that helps me accomplish this is listening to my favorite genre's of music. I am highly inspired with any form of electronica, including Trance, Techno, Dubstep, and Drum 'n Bass. I listen to Ambient music when creating my Space illustrations. )
